Webinar woensdag 1 november - Ervaringen met elektrificeren van stedelijk vrachtvervoer in Houston en Rotterdam

De webinar richt zich op de inzet van elektrische vrachtvoertuigen, met voorbeelden uit de Verenigde Staten (Houston) en Europa (Rotterdam). Hoe de publieke en private sector hebben samengewerkt om de stadslogistiek te verbeteren en de emissies te verminderen. United States Example:

Mr. Eulois Cleckley of the Houston-Galveston Area Council—the Houston, Texas metropolitan planning organization (MPO)—will describe the organization’s recent partnership with the Department of Energy and United Parcel Service (UPS) to pilot 18 electric delivery trucks. European Example:

Mr. Jos Streng and Mr. Richard van der Wulp of the City of Rotterdam will discuss their own electric freight vehicle pilot, which was part of the Freight Electric Vehicles (FREVUE) project, a European-wide program which deployed more than 80 electric freight vehicles in 8 cities. The speakers will provide information about their city’s partnership with private firms such as Heineken, TNT, and UPS to pilot these vehicles.
